It is easy to use and it does seem to be giving accurate readings. I notice that when I am not as vigilant, my ketone measurement drops and when I am, it rises. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is trying to ensure they stay in ketosis.Update #1 - Well, after the first use, it no longer registered anything but zeros. I have requested a replacement item. More to follow once I receive another device.I just received this today. My initial impression is that isn't difficult to use. However, I'm not sure how long to blow into the thing. Is it until it stops beeping? The instructions, besides being written so small I had to strain my eyes to read them, aren't as clear as they could be.At any rate, if I did it correctly, it did measure me as being in ketosis, which I expected. I've been using test strips and they have been registering positive for a few days. I don't know about the accuracy of the measurement because I have nothing to check it against. But that doesn't matter too much to me. It's a good tool for verifying that I am in ketosis. I'll keep an eye on the measurements going forward to see if I can somehow gauge the accuracy.This is so much more convenient than the test strips. Returned ### ⭐ 1.0 out of 5 stars random number generator? *by A***S on Reviewed in the United States on November 4, 2019* So, I have been eating/living ketogenic for over a year. I haven't used the strips in months, just because it felt wasteful to always be using little disposable thing, and I plan to keep up with ketosis forever. However, I don't know that I have ever gotten an accurate read on this thing. Typically, it tells me I have no ketones, when I know I do (I finally ordered the strips to check again). Occasionally, it will tell me I have 2.8 or 2.9 - the only ketone numbers I typically see on it. When you turn it on, it cycles through to clear out any residual ketones from the last time it was used. Sometimes, it will cycle through twice, and it has happened on three occasions that it cycles through twice, then does not give me an opportunity to even blow into it before it registers ketones - 2.8, 2.9, and 5.8. With no breath at all. Again, I usually get a "0.0" reading. I hate that I didn't send this back before the return window closed - it is total junk.
