I've used this eyeglass holder for a few months now, and it's solved those issues.The case is made of plastic, with a thin velvet non-slip fabric on the base. The case appears to be made of an imitation leather and lined with a soft plush fabric for the interior. Prior reviews noted a residue on the plush that got onto lenses; I haven't had this issue. The wide base size along with the velvet backing prevents movement.
