Personally, I only know a couple of people who have this problem strongly, but even the best of us "quiet types" may resort to this behavior at times, and this helped me take a fresh look at how I cope with frustration and anger. The most surprising and satisfying thing in this book are the simple, clear suggestions for dealing with the behavior in others and ourselves. Obviously, they aren't an overnight cure-all, but can over time change the dynamic of a relationship, building trust and taking off the pressure to hide feelings. I've seen it happen. The downside of this book: it is in BAD need of a few more proof-readings. Some of the sentences are nearly incomprehensible. "We have already established how to recognize passive aggressive behavior now we will and to self diagnose that you may be dealing with a passive aggressive person." What? Anyway, I appreciate the book and will probably refer to it again.
