They have about 1-3 inches of space depending on how you arrange them. I have the Alex 4, 5 and 9 drawers and the leftover spacing is all very similar. They do work very well for organizing things though as I decided to keep and work with them. I ordered 3 sets and I don't believe I use any of the dividers so I cant comment on that but without the dividers they dip in a little until you put things in it and it starts to straighten out. Overall good product and none arrived cracked. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Good for Alex drawers *by J***R on Reviewed in the United States on March 2, 2020* I purchased one set to try out in my Ikea Alex drawers for makeup. It works well and I love that it's adjustable. You can fit two small plus one large in a drawer. They are too long to fit width-wise or to line them up so you'd have a leftover organizer. It came with more than enough separators. One arrived cracked, as I've seen with others. Not that big of a deal to me because they stay in the drawer, but still disappointing.
