It definitely doesn't require an undershirt as it's thick enough that it's not see through. I would say if you're nervous about that and between sizes maybe order a size up so it's not stretched too tight. That said, it does offer room for some stretch in the material. The material is thick enough that it doesn't show every bump and curve which I always appreciate. The neck line with buttons and the little pockets are a really nice flattering feature. It was fine through the bust, but not as stretchy as it looked, so it was a boxy, unflattering fit. Also - the sleeves are HORRID - baggy, baggy, baggy. There's no cuff, and they are very loose - very much not like pictured. Fabric wasn't particularly impressive, but the stitching and seams were decent.
