It's a little brighter than in the image - more of a intense red, but it looks so good on. It's actually much nicer than I thought it would be and better than the "Red" colour (which I have also). The colour lasts forever on me and takes quite a number of hours to wear off (even after eating and drinking). Whilst it does moisturise my lips on initial application I find that after a number of hours my lips feel slightly dry but not adversely. I'm happy with my purchase, however, I'm not sure if the colour in the swatch above is entirely accurate. Luckily, on this occasion I was very happy with the colour. If I could give this 4.5 stars I would, as I feel the colour swatches in the examples above might be slightly misleading.
