Three days after I started using it. I was in England, so there are many heavy coins to use. The bottom just came apart. I had to find another change purse to use to hold my coins. Otherwise, it was a great wallet for the purpose of traveling. It fit nicely into my purse. I got all my credit cards and ID's in it. It held my passport and plane tickets just fine. Plenty of room for cash. On my first week in Europe the wrist strap fell off, and a few days later the zipper to the coins pouch broke.
