I've used it for everything from fish tank sumps to automobile spoilers and trim. This time it was to replace the knock-off double sided tape that came on my upper roof spoiler for my car.The key for this tape is to use it on non-porous material like glass, gloss auto paint (not household wall paint), metal etc. Make sure to prep the surface and do a final clean wipe and dry with alcohol before applying the tape. This stuff holds incredibly well if you do your part to prepare the surface. On my previous cars I've used it for trunk lip spoilers for over 10 years and it holds up to the weather and abuse. never failed or peels. Its my go to tape for such applications.
