At first it was a bit intimidating because it was so much larger than what she was used to, but she got past that pretty quickly and now seems to love it. I love the drain, and with a spigot and hose attached I can make sure the water is put to good use when I change it out. BTW, although the documentation says it uses a 3/4" spigot this actually uses a 1/2" spigot. Also, the shipping/delivery folks do a really good job of arranging the delivery,too. Trying to use it for laundry.** A: I would say yes. I'm not sure the plastic rating or how hot your water but its a thick and sturdy tub and would feel comfortable using hot water in it, without question. **Q: $1000 shipping?
