In other words, the advertising is ambiguous. Also, this is imported from Spain, where, I am sure they know how to make textured vegetable protein pieces, but there are US companies that make tvp that is at least as good. Finally, the storefront does not mention its status as an import-export company, and obviously does business under a number of unnecessary aliases, prompting me to point this out.There are other brands of tvp around, made in the USA. There is no reason to prefer this brand over a US-made brand except for price. I had reordered this product because the first one or two times, the cutlets were a nice "cutlet" size, but the last few times they were far from being adequate size.
