Because we were able to respond quickly she had no falls overnight before she passed. We did discover that there were less false alarms when we placed the alarm under her lower back/hip area. There are two alarm sound levels depending on how lightly you sleep so it is worth testing what alarm level you need before actually using this with your loved one. The alarm even worked downstairs so we could go have breakfast before she got up for the day and not worry the entire time (before the alarm we had to run upstairs every time we heard any small sound).

This bed alarm worked perfectly to alert us when my grandmother would try to get up during the night. Because we were able to respond quickly she had no falls overnight before she passed.
