A: This will absolutely not work for your Xbox. This will only work for the original Xbox One released in 2013. Earlier models and subsequent models will not function with this power supply.

I recently picked up an XBOX 1 for stupid cheap, $25, but it had to power adapter so I had to buy one and this one does the trick just fine and at $20 I can't complain. Its just annoying the fact I didn't know the OG xbox 1 had an external power supply and not internal like the 1s.

One day or Xbox completely shut off I would not turn back on we thought we had lost it for good and everything on it and in it. But after reading some reviews online other said that it was the power supply for the Xbox that finally gave out and once they replaced it it worked fine. We bought this and hopes for the same thing and we're very happy and surprised when this brought our Xbox back to life. Thank you for being a great price I bringing back our xbox.
