This is a FLAT sheet, which we use in the center of the mattress. do not expect the size to match the crib, in fact it's about the size of a pack n play mattress. As long as you know what you're ordering and expecting, you won't be disappointed. This does cover the width of the mattress but nowhere near the length. It will not work for a baby crib, in my opinion. It does provide enough protection where I need it in my daughter's toddler bed though, so that is where I will be using it. She is potty trained and learning how to nap without a pullup so these are perfect for the occasional accident. They absorb A LOT of liquid and don't even leak through to the mattress. I did think per the picture that it was like regular mattress pads and had elastic so it fit like a fitted sheet. It doesn't. It is a flat pad that slides around a little as you put your fitted sheet over it.
