They weren't. I got these for my wife's CTX-700. There were no instructions and lots of parts. I am fairly mechanically inclined (Master Auto Tech for over 40 years) and the assembly was a royal pain in the tail! It was necessary to remove all of the "Tupperware" from the Honda and then I still had to modify one of the covers for everything to fit properly. The installation was definitely NOT for the faint of heart. Once installed, they look really good. How or if they hold up when required?
