The only problem it doesn't hold a lot of water. It's not a good idea to take the bowl to the sink and fill it, it tends to spill easy. I would recommend filling a cup and pouring that into the water bowl while it's on the ground. Are Persian cat finds it easier to drink from this bowl over others. I searched for months trying to find something that would make eating and drinking easier. The slight angle of the base tips the bowl just enough to accommodate their faces. The non-slip bowl sits up about 1.5-2" from the ground so they do not have to crouch. The best think is the removable bowls, I don't have to bring the whole dish to the faucet or food just the bowl which easily goes right back in place.I have recommended these bowls on several Persian forums but these dishes are great for any animal. I looked at so many of these bowls to figure out which size would be best for my pups and most of the pictures show a stainless steel bowl so I just assumed that's what came with it. Unfortunately the entire bowl is just cheap plastic. It doesn't look nearly as nice in peson as the pictures make it out to be.
