Wasn’t doing great due to a lot of traumatic experiences in a short amount of time. I had supernatural faith to believe for things to change up until then until I let doubt take root. Once doubt is an option..life follows with exactly the things you believe won’t happen. They don’t happen. Then one day as I was organizing my bookshelf this book jumped out and I started reading and declaring again. My faith has returned and I’m encouraged again. I see the truth of who God is and how important it is to believe again. Very encouraging and uplifting for me. I agree with all the declarations he has presented in this wonderful book. I have done 90% of what Joel speaks in this book. What makes it feel strange for me is that I hadn't read "I Declare" up until the last couple of weeks. I have had many things come to light (a year prior and even as recent as a few days ago) because I was able to follow what my intuition told me and now as I read "I Declare" he talks about what my intuition was telling me a year before. When I read Joel's declarations, I was able to see it from God's point of view as he described. This made perfect sense to me and now, the big picture is so much clearer. I would recommend this book to everyone who can read. But more so to the people who have been spiritually awakened. It explains so much and also reminds us people who may forget the simple things God wants us to do and how God will reward us if we will just do it. Amazing read for me.
