Review: Large and sturdy butter dish ... easy to clean - I was looking for a respectable but not budget-breaking butter dish for a lunch party (to replace my serviceable but boring stainless steel one) and was delighted when this arrived. It's very robust, but also attractive enough to use as a pot on your dressing table. If I have a tiny quibble with it, it's that it's VERY big ... much bigger than I was expecting ... and a standard 250g (1/2lb) of butter looks a tiny bit lost in it: but I forgive it, simply because it's such a lovely thing. Recommended.

I was looking for a respectable but not budget-breaking butter dish for a lunch party (to replace my serviceable but boring stainless steel one) and was delighted when this arrived. It's very robust, but also attractive enough to use as a pot on your dressing table. If I have a tiny quibble with it, it's that it's VERY big ... much bigger than I was expecting ... and a standard 250g (1/2lb) of butter looks a tiny bit lost in it: but I forgive it, simply because it's such a lovely thing. Recommended.

I was looking for a butter dish where it has a Handle so that the lid will not slip if your hands are wet or greasy. This one is very pretty, nice and sturdy. It arrived next day after ordering, very well packaged. It can go into the dishwasher and microwave. Pretty addition on my new kitchen worktop. I’m very happy with it.
