The battery lasted the whole day during our trip which is great, the instruction says it may vary in different frequencies but for ours they last long enough. There are more features in these walkie-talkies than I can list here, such as squelch, CTCSS, and 'roger tones', that make them perfect for any working conditions, including a professional work environment. In the video, I was talking to a friend 2 blocks away, and the actual range was more than I expected.
