Since I asked before I bought it where it was made and was told the UK I was really irritated to find out otherwise. I can't blame other owners because the pot itself says "designed in England" and all the obvious wording implies its made in England. But the box said, in very small print, made in China.Since I am wary of using anything food related from China this was a problem. Also the quality was poor as the glazing had small holes which detracted from the appearance.The teapot was designed in England and the design itself is great. It doesn't drip and has a nice large capacity. Too bad they had to outsource it and did not have good quality control for production.
