I am pleased with the efficacy of ValuMeds Mucous and Cough liquid capsules.Cons: size is quite large and if swallowing capsules is difficult for you, I do not recommend. Perhaps a liquid formulation would be best. It also does seem to take some time before it kicks in so plan doses accordingly.I took 3x a day. My lungs are still not 100% however I am able to keep them clear with this medication, regular steam showers and deep breathing exercises.
