Thats what I actually need. Thanks.** A: No it has a different weaving to it but you can see through it and would as a screen but to thick to use screen tracking it would need to be secured differently **Q: does this product mold?** A: I used it on my patio over the Winter months to block the wind and snowy weather. It worked very well and no mold or mildew. **Q: What is the weight of the item** A: As a user, I can only answer that it is light weight. We use it as a shade on our back screened-in porch. We like that the light comes through filtered and it is an excellent wind shield (it lets enough wind through so that it doesn't damage the product yet reduces the force of the wind). **Q: I want to use this over patio and a bit over pool area to block out Florida sun.. will this work? what hardware is needed?** A: Yes it should work well and it will block the sun. It is not waterproof but is well made. The 7x10 is closer to 6.5x9.5 which is great if you want to really pull them taut. I attached them to my canopy frame using the grommets and white bungee cord ball ties but I'm sure zip ties would also work.
