I wanted height so I could get my knees high enough to release pressure on the thighs and lower back 4) A removable washable cover. I am not sure how durable the cover is, but I only use it with bare feet or socks on, to preserve the life of the cover. This one was one of the taller ones which is why I got it. The outside cover is soft synthetic felt like material. The inside honestly feels pretty cheap.
