I would definately buy or recommend and buy another one of these reels. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Reliable *by A***R on July 12, 2026* Inexpensive yet reliable. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfect reel for beginners and kids *by J***. on April 7, 2023* This is a great reel for beginners that makes casting and retrieval super easy which eliminates some of the frustrating aspects of learning to fish. Bought these reels to replace the Zebco reel that comes on the dock demon poles for my 3 and 5 year olds. The reels are a bit larger which adds some weight but both kids were easily able to control the rods with the added weight. The 15lb test that comes on the poles has a large diameter so I immediately respooled the reels with 10lb test line (Zebco Cajun smooth cast). The reel’s push button is easy to depress and the line casts smoothly without catching on any internal pieces of the reel. The retrieve is also smooth and the spin dial drag set works well (not a star drag set next to the crank but a plastic dial set another the push button). The only issue with this reel that I found is the reel housing’s front cover is a little tricky to get to line up and screw closed.
