What brought me into looking at Adidas mid GTX boots were I wore an older model of Adidas Terrex hiking shoes hunting once and it felt good along with the outside being Gore-tex which was a super plus.If you are looking a 100% full-proof waterproof boot, these might not be the one. As we all know Gore-Tex is an awesome material for wetness. I wore them out one morning hunting after a rain storm, hiking up and down the mountain going through wet brushes and tree branches. You could feel a "wet"/cold feeling once the boot took on some water from the outside which was fine. Once I got home and took off my gear, inside the boot and my socks took on more moisture than I would have thought which made me think water got through. Felt around the inside of the boot and all of the inside walls of the boot were quite "moist", so i would not say water got through to the inside but probably have most peoples feet more moist then they'd like after a hike with weather. Not sure how they'll hold up if I were to be in the Mountains during a rain storm. Food for thoughtComfort of the boot itself is awesome. My pair of regular Terrex hiking shoes are 8.5s so i ordered the boots in 8.5s, thinking they would fit the same but the boot seems to run a tad larger. I'd recommend sizing down .5 ### ⭐ Tight, Narrow And Stiff, Waste of Money *by J***I on Reviewed in the United States on January 5, 2020* I am disappointed, but I already wore them on a walk to I can not return them.The are very narrow and tight and don't flex easily.The removable minimal cushion thin insole rests on a top what feels like hard plastic.I can't see how these could ever be comfortable or good for you feet. ### ⭐⭐ The shoelaces are comically too short *by D***G on Reviewed in the United States on August 1, 2019* The shoelaces are too short.I am not a hiker. I just wanted good shoes to wear while walking shelter dogs. So if the laces were just a little bit too short, I would have wondered if there was some technical hiking reason for this.But these laces are comically too short. Maybe the factory was out of the correct laces and someone decided to use the next size down in a pinch. Or maybe Adidas wanted to streamline their shoelace inventory and figured they didn't need to properly fit size 13 boots with appropriate shoelaces. Either way, someone at Adidas chose to send me laces that they knew were wrong.So now I am in the process of deciding if I keep them or send them back.
