Review: I feel that I've finally grown up -- a WEBER grill is awesome - I can't say enough good things about my experience, thus far, with my Weber Spirit E310 LP grill. To list just a few: 1. Shipping was very fast ... arrived on my doorstep in about 36 hours from ordering 2. The boxing/packaging is a work of industrial art. VERY sturdily packaged and organized. 3. ALL parts of the grill are very sturdily made ... from the casters to the thermometer, you can feel how much better quality this is than the $199 box-store specials. 4. The hardware too is top-dollar stuff; all stainless and very beefy for the purpose 5. Even the dual-color knobs are really study and very attractive. I don't think I've ever admired a knob before. 6. The assembly instructions (all pictures; no words) were clear enough ... tho' as with most instructions, could use just a few improvements. 7. Once assembled and tested, it works FABULOUSLY. Quick to light; quick to heat, very even and controllable temps, can dial down to a nice low and consistent heat for slow-cooking. While awaiting the shipment, I watched a couple of YouTube videos on how to assemble it, which were a big help to prepare for the assembly. One tip that I followed is to make sure to remove all of the small boxes of stuff from inside the cover while it's still in the big shipping box ... will save your back. There are a lot of machine screws to screw in, so I will HIGHLY RECOMMEND that you use a good quality power screwdriver. There will be a torque setting that you should adjust to "good and tight" but not "way too tight" that you'll risk stripping them. On my Wilwaukee brand power screwdriver, that was 12 out of 14. By watching (and re-watching) the assembly videos up-front, unboxing and organizing the parts on the patio, and using the power screwdriver, I swear that I had this thing fully assembled in under 30 minutes. (The LP install and leak test took another ten.) So far, I have TONS of wonderful things to say about this top-quality grill, and only two VERY MINOR suggestions for "further improvement": 1. As others have noted, I wish that the side tables were fold-down. Or at least one of them. I'd pay $20-ish extra for fold-town side tables. 2. The BBQ bottom body ought to have pre-drilled holes for mounting the rotisserie attachment motor on the left as well as right side. As it comes from the factory, the rotisserie motor mounts on the right side only. I've bought at least five "box store" grills over my lifetime. By no means the cheapest $99 types, but pretty good, "higher end" ones in the $200-$300 range. And all five were in the trash within three or four years ... mostly due to heavy rusting of too-thin sheet metal used, due to heat and the salty Florida air. I finally sprung for this $500 Weber grill and see that it is WELL worth the extra cost. The cook area is all heavy cast aluminum that should last indefinitely. And I believe that every part is individually replaceable should rust eventually form. Hopefully this will turn out to be a ten-year grill, or more. BTW, I also bought the Weber 7105 Grill Cover, the Weber 7614 Spirit 200/300 Series Rotisserie, and the Grill Light By Knight BBQ light. Each work well, and I've reviewed them separately.
Review: Excellent, the back panel IS shorter by default! - I was a little disappointed at first because everything was assembled but the back panel according to the manual was supposed to be the longer one. So, I ended up calling Weber today and found out that the panel that they're shipping out with this unit at least is in fact the short one so I wanted to mention in case someone sees the same thing. Otherwise, this model far exceeded the expectation as far as the overall quality and was surprised how heavy the box was. Everything was packed really well with hard foam and I had no issues with any parts being broken or bent. The overall thickness I feel is tad thicker than our old Weber from about few years ago with the two burner. The assembly only took about 20 minutes or so a s everything bolted nice and tight and there was no need to readjust things afterwards. The grill turned on almost instantly with a push of the ignition switch and does come with a battery which is also nice and overall, we really enjoy the grill in our first use with a nice thick ribeye steak and vegetables on skewers 🤤 I feel that this unit should be cleaned once a month especially if you cook even once or twice a week only as we found out at least with our last Weber grill that the caked on deposits are very hard to clean if you don't do it often. While they don't recommend using as far as I understand oven cleaners, I'm going to start cleaning it with the pressure washer at least on the surface away from the burner itself but shoot keep it nice and clean and hopefully it will last at least four or five years if not longer. I honestly don't mind that the side tables are completely locked in as at least with our small grill, we constantly had to move it as we don't have a patio and that sort of made it difficult for the moving table on one side. This unit is also bigger and sturdier and very happy with being able to put larger dishes and containers!

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Do the side tables fold down on the Weber E310?**
A: This does seem to be a highly confused question due to Amazon having these all grouped on the one product page.To clarify:ANY of the 3 burner models (including the E310, which this question specifies) DO NOT have the fold down side tables.ONLY the 2 burner models WITHOUT a side-burner (E210 or S210) DO have fold down side tables.

**Q: 3/16/14 Is this the newest model with the "sear grate" in the middle? Thanks.**
A: Mine is the 200 series and no sear grate

**Q: Can this be used to smoke or would it use too much propane? Also, do you need lava rocks? I have only used charcol in the past. Thanks.**
A: You can definitely slow cook with this, and add a smoke box with wood chips to flavor the meat more. If doesn't require rocks as it has metal flavorizer bars that the cooking meat will drip on and then transfer the grilled flavor to the finished product. I think you could get several hours from a tankful of propane. Have done this with my old gas grill before. I suggest using one burner and placing the meat on one side or the other or in the middle for.this grill and try keeping the temp to around 225 degrees F

**Q: My weber silver b has handy flip up /flip down, melamine side tables, which extend to the front. is this feature available on genesis models?**
A: Hi! Our Genesis II models have a side table that has the ability to fold down. The other side is stationary. Thanks!
