My first treatment of Tufoil in both vehicles did both, I was amazed how quiet the motor became in the pickup and how much quieter and smoother the Acura's engine became. This almost instant result makes me confident that this is a product that works. I've added it to my other truck, a 07 Tundra, along with my riding mower and other gas powered equipment with no negative effects. I should not that prior to trying Tufoil I did a treatment of Seafoam in the gas/oil/intake, while it did produce a lot of smoke out the tailpipe, it didn't solve any of the above noted issues. For the first treatment, I followed the instructions of 8oz per 5qts of oil, my follow up treatments will be the prescribed 4oz per 5qts. You will definitely want to try Tufoil out if you have a noisy valve train or looking for a smoother running engine. I can't comment on any MPG increases yet, but that's not why I purchased it. PS: Aside from Tufoil, I would recommend using Valvoline High Mileage oil, it has a strong detergent base for cleaning your engine and will help rejuvenate seals to slow leaks.
