The size works perfectly to hold moistened cotton rounds / cotton pads - I put a stack of about seven in and squeeze my micellar cleanser over them enough to soak them through. It keeps them moist for a long time and doesn't leak as long as you don't have too much liquid in there. It can feel like the tops will just 'pop' back on, but be sure to actually screw them on, when I didn't on the one with Tylenol capsules in it, I grabbed it once and it flew open sending capsules all over. It's not an issue if you just make sure you screwed them on. Very lightweight for travel and nice/minimal looking. Didn't need as many as came in the set, but I'm sure I'll find other uses for them.
