The table and fence are MDF with a laminate finish, a common material even on expansive aftermarket drill press tables. The table and fence are about 1" thick (I didn't measure) and the sacrificial piece in the middle is 3/8". There is a t-track at each end with a thin metal ruler embedded to the outside edge of the t-track. Note the ruler is in inches only, not metric. There is also a t-track on the fence for quick positioning of the included stop block. The mounting for this table is two threaded rods about 10" apart on the bottom. The rods thread into mounts on the bottom of this accessory table, then a bent aluminum clamp and knob are added to hold the table in place. The mount can not be adjusted wider. This arrangement works well IF your stock drill press table is less then 10" wide like many of the Central Machinery drill presses. I have a Jet drill press with a stock table about 18" wide, so I could not use this accessory table.
