**Q: Is this a large morse taper shank?**
A: Yes it is a Large morse taper for Yamaha, Jupiter and similar Flugelhorns. It will not work with Bach style Flugels.

**Q: Will this fit a Cool Wind plastic Flugelhorn?**
A: I am not familiar with that brand of flugelhorn.
A Yamaha flugel mouthpiece has a standard taper shank and will probably fit.  If not, go with a Bach flugel mouthpiece.

**Q: Looking for flugelhorn mp equivalent to Bach 7C...how does this Yamaha 14F4 rate?**
A: bach makes a 7cfl, but depending on your flugel, the shank might not be right.  (be sure to check that out ahead of time.)  the yamaha equivalent to a 7 rim is the 11.  the 14f4 is a very nice mouthpiece, but it will be larger.

**Q: Will this fit allora aafg-103f?**
A: Is the allora has a small shank receiver yes.

I purchased a 14F4 almost a year ago and paired it with an Adams flugelhorn. It didn't work well with that particular horn. I ended up selling both. Fast forward to two days ago. I bought a brand new Yamaha 8315G, which came supplied with a 14F4. The experience was much different. The mouthpiece and the horn are a perfect combination.
