I run with friends who have Garmin's and I have found that this works pretty much as well as their basic Garmin's
I have had this for about 2 months now. I have been running for about a year and wanted a GPS watch. I run with friends who have Garmin's and I have found that this works pretty much as well as their basic Garmin's. Satellite takes a few minutes to locate, but I just start it and put it on the back of my car while I stretch and it is usually ready to go by the time I am done stretching. The face is easy to read while I am running. I have a very small wrist and I like the size of this, it is not too bulky (I wear it almost as tight as it will go).The negatives: - It is not very intuitive to use - it takes a little while to get used to which buttons to push to get it to the correct setting. I had to watch the youtube video multiple times to figure it out, and I still sometimes hit the wrong button by accident.- I can't figure out how to find the saved data (which isn't a huge problem for me since I usually save my runs on my phone and just use this to more easily track pace and distance while I am running).- Somehow the time got reset and I can't figure out how to get it back to the correct time.In general this watch works for me at a much better cost than some of more expensive and popular brands.

Not simple, techies may like
I tried to save a little bit of money on a GPS watch because I only needed it for the simplest of reasons. I just needed to track my training runs for a half marathon as my phone's battery wouldn't last through all the runs and the GPS isn't very accurate. While this watch was cheaper it definitely was way more work than it was worth saving the $40 for the Garmin Forerunner 10. It took forever to find the GPS and I'm not sure it actually ever found it. And to get to the screen to track runs was way too much work.It was way more work than it was worth it to me to spend the 10 minutes getting my watch set. Maybe it is just to techy for me and if you have that sort of brain and want to fiddle with things and figure out how they work then this is the watch for you. I wanted something simple where I could press one button and go. If you want simplicity, don't get this watch, get the Garmin. And while this is labeled the "mini" it felt like a normal size for a lady's watch. I can't imagine how big the regular size it. The size didn't actually bother me I just wanted to share that if you were looking for a smaller watch this may not be what you are looking for.

Great for basic Runner's needs
I run 20-30 mpw and typically use nike+ on my phone to track my runs, but I was looking for something that would give me basic information with a quick glance (distance, pace, time). This watch does this quite well and it sufficient for the average runner's needs.Pros1. quickly connects to gps satellite and doesn't drop signal even on cloudy days and under tree cover.2. gps tracking is very accurate.3. easy to read displays once you get it set up how you want (set up is not particularly intuitive, i had to watch a youtube video to figure it out)4. good battery life so far.Cons1. native software less than user friendly (I still use nike to map my runs and have not bothered to upload the data from my watch. I just use it to track my run in real time and use nike+ to review the data)2. still quite large (I am a petite 5'2" and have to use the the very last hole to get it tight enough to keep from slipping around)Over all i'm extremely pleased with the purchase. it met all my expectations and

Amazon was AWESOME and sent a replacement in 2 days
Wish zero stars as an option. First one ordered was DOA never charged. Amazon was AWESOME and sent a replacement in 2 days. Went for my first walk and GPS function didn't work. Both were sent back for a refund. This tracker watch is crap.

Hard to set
Very challenging to set the time...even with the directions! We eventually got the right time set.

No recomendado!
Calidad media baja. La batería duro muy poco y la correa a pesar del buen cuidado se rompió.

Not worth it
i was looking for a simple GPS watch b/c i was just a beginning runner and didn't run super far distances. I wanted to be able to track what I was running. I gave this watch a lot of time to try and prove it was useful and worth it but time and time again it failed me. The GPS never started working when I needed it to, it would stop working during the middle of my runs. If I would try it again it would still start from where my last run ended. After giving it a lot of attention and trying it out I can say for certain I would not recommend this watch. It is worth it to spend a little bit more money and invest in something that will work all of the time and provide you with the information you need when you want it.

Great watch for a great price
This was just what I needed. I'm a half-marathon runner and this is perfect for me. I had an earlier version of the Soleus (can't remember which one exactly) but I like this smaller size. Dependable and easy to use.
