Annoying though. **Q: Is this suitable for a bex wetting toddler?** A: Yes it is waterproof - it has a lovely cushiony feel on top so you can use without a fitted sheet if you like (to save on washing if you know there's a tendency for needing frequent changes) but the backing is a waterproof lining. Completely protects the mattress. We've had a couple of incidents where baby has been in our bed, leaked through his nappy, drenching the bed, but mattress is absolutely fine! (Ps not sure what product person below is talking about, but it's not this mattress protector - we have 2 King size, 1 double, and about to buy a further 2 singles). **Q: How Thick is this product ?** A: It’s thin maybe just 1/2 centimetre but it is good at its job only thing with it being waterproof wash on a cool wash I used a hot wash and kinda messed the rubber backing a bit but it is still great well recommended I am going to purchase another ps I am a mature female with bad kidney problems ! **Q: Any washing/drying instructions to prevent changes to it?** A: Seems to wash ok at 30 degrees, it's fabric rather than plastic so washes and dries just like a normal fitted sheet.
