Wow I’m amazed at how awesome it is. I decided to use it this way for my first time using it. I colored my hair first and I added the Keratin to the color. Then Added it to a hair mask and added the Keratin to the hair mask. I mixed the whole container of hair mask and will keep it in the shower to use weekly. I put the mask in my hair covered with a plastic cap left it on for 3 hours just doing stuff around the house. Then I rinsed it out in shower and ran some other conditioner I have for good measure and because I like the smell. I blew it dry but it dried super fast and then I flat ironed my hair. I mix the conditioner and keratin together and shake until it's all combined. I rub it into my dry hair, cover with a plastic store bag, and watch and episode of Downton. Then I wash my hair really well. You want to make sure you get out what doesn't soak in. Your hair does feel kind of yarn-ey, but that's ok. Then I blow my hair dry and hot iron it in small sections. That will seal the keratin into the hair. Then don't wash it or get it wet for 24+ hours. You can run an iron over it again. It gives me beautiful, shiny hair. I love it. I use it once every month or two, whenever I feel my hair is getting dull. **Q: Can this be mixed with pure essential oils and a carrier oil? Or would the Keratin be considered the carrier oil?** A: Keratin is called an oil often, but it's actually water soluble.
