It has just the right amount of room to fit over layers without looking big. I really like the rose embroidery detail on the sleeves. In the picture, the flowers look like a brighter red, however in person they're actually far more understated in color and match the black much better. Each flower is actually a sewn in part of the jacket and NOT a cheap patch so it looks far more expensive than it will actually cost you. It would have been perfect if this jacket had snaps or softer wooden/plastic buttons, but the metallic buttons it has are well constructed. The more I wear it, the easier they'll be to use on the denim which is still a little stiff there from being new. I haven't experimented with rolling the sleeves yet like in the model picture, but if you want to go with that look, it's totally possible. The denim isn't stiff in the sleeves or body. As a black jacket this goes with tons of looks. The flowers make it a little more on the casual side, but they also make it stand out from just a plain black jacket. I can definitely see myself getting a lot of use from this one.SIZING: This is actually not too far off from usual "Western" Sizing. I generally go with a Medium in most Jackets and I went with a Large and was fine. I think if you size up one from your normal size most people will be OK. The sleeve length is down to my wrist/top of hand so nothing is too fitted or too short. DEFINITELY use the size chart in their description to be extra sure. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Not a Jean Jacket Made out of Denim and to small *by J***L on March 15, 2019* The appliques are not totally sewn on as you can see in picture. IT is not a jean jacket as advertised its not even Jean Material. Plus the jacket is suppose to be a XL. the picture shows a woman wearing it in the advertisement. But Im older woman 170 pounds. I was so disappointed that I couldn't give this to my mom for Christmas because it would never fit her and she's not a large person. Be careful when ordering these clothing items from China because their sizing is way off from American sizing. I even double checked the sizing chart listed in the item description and the jacket I received was more like a small. The embroidery is gorgeous, the denim is pretty lightweight and a nice color.
