I know they have a similar bluetooth pair that I plan on picking up at some point now that I know the level of comfort I am dealing with here. Almost as if by design. The plastic is brittle and cheap beyond belief. I've been buying Skull candy brand head phones exclusivelyfor close to 11 years now and when I say "we are a skull candy family" I mean it. To date, we own three sets of ear buds, and about four head set style headphones including one wireless Hesh 2 bluetooth model. My first pair was purchased from the San Clemente office in Southern California (blue pair pictured above), and you know what? I still have them! That particular pair has been through hell and back and the are just fine, the foam is a little frayed, but they still sound great! I have a younger child in school they needed a pair of head phones for computer class and my first thought as a parent was "skull candy!". I bought the first pair at target (gray pair) as it was urgent. That pair snapped at the band in a few days. Out of desperation I tried to glue them but it failed, they broke again. I thought it was a fluke. So I ordered the second pair (White pair) here on Amazon. Same model, and they snapped in the same place!? I managed to epoxy them, but they no longer fit well as the break was in the extender portion. finaly, and I mean, finally, this is the end of the road with my family and the Skull Candy brand, we simply cant trust the quality any longer.
