It will take a standard sheet of paper.. however the laminating sheets themselves are too large. I cannot locate a package of laminating sheets that fit in this thing. For ease of your larger laminating needs, skip it. It was listed that it could take sheets up to 9 inches wide. As shown in the photos, it cannot take standard (8.5"X11") letter pouch which measures 8.9"X 11.4". I have to do some trimming in order to use it. Quite dissappointed!
