Is the item pictured the item I will receive if I order it? Does it snap together or is tools needed** A: The issue might be that the bench I ordered comes in two boxes, each with 3 pieces. However, the first bench I ordered, only box "1 of 2" arrived. I called Amazon and they said that they would ship out another one and UPS would pick this one up. I told them I didn't think the workers in the warehouse know that this bench now comes in two boxes. They shipped out another one and picked up the "incomplete" order. Guess what, again only one box showed up, this time box "2 of 2" with the 3 other pieces (back, storage sides). Box 1 contains the 2 sides and the bench top. I called again and they are shipping out another order and have told me that it will be "box 1 of 2" to complete my order. What a waste of money with all these shipments and errors... I can not be the only person who has received only one box. And from the reviews, it appears this may be "new" because nobody else has complained about only getting one box. My "box 1 of 2" is supposed to arrive tomorrow... we'll see what happens. For some reason, I have a feeling this isn't the end of my dilemma with this bench! **Q: What are the exterior dimensions of this bench? Especially interested in the width (side to side) to know if it will fit in a 48" or a 72" space** A: the bench is 53" across and 24"deep. hope this helps. **Q: How many gallons does it hold?** A: Unknown, but the area under the bench is pretty big. Bet you could fit ten or so one gallon containers inside. We keep our summer deck items in there. **Q: What are the interior dimensions, especially the length and width? Thanks.** A: What is height of interior storage. I have 6 cushions that are 22" x 22" and 4" thick. I was happy that the second one was shipped, delivered, assembled, and placed as quickly as the first. Very happy with this vendor, and will willingly order any other products from this source. I expected plastic will degrade from UV in Florida in 1-2 years. Surprisingly, colors of benches did not fade. Plastic is still flexible, no any degradation in mechanical properties. And these benches fits my needs in storage very well.
