Use very small amounts at first. It feels greasy at first but in a few minutes it feels like it is not there. but it protects your skin from drying out. Used it on some tougher skin on bottom of ankle and it really helped get that soft. The smell isn't all that pleasant, but goes away after a short time. You could consider adding lavendar oil or something if you want it to smell nicer. I put some on my hands and arms in the morning and they stay supple and soft all day.
