This is not at the same sturdiness quality you would find in military gear because it is held to a much higher standard. However, for civilian purposes it looks like it's going to last a few years. It is definitely not meant to be dragged along airport floors or the like so you need to be very careful about keeping it off the ground. The sewing appears to be excellent and the hasp assembly is very strong.I am very pleased with it.
