I was skeptical, even with the 5-star reviews, because the much-touted Nature's Miracle did NOT do the trick. Sure, it would eliminate the smell for a week or so, but the smell would return. In my case, my cat had peed on the memory foam mattress and it had seeped down into the foam. After actually POURING Nature's Miracle on the stain, the smell would return after a week or two. That gets expensive. This product is enough to last a year or more. You can experiment with strengths or use full strength. I decided to go with a 1 part Airx RX 66 to 3 parts water, and that not only eliminated the smell, it actually ate the stain itself away. With covers removed, that telltale yellow stain disappeared over the course of 48 hours. There is a trick though: This is an enzymatic product and has live bacteria in it. That means that it will travel through the liquid to feed on the organic material. If that liquid is only what comes out mixed with the spray, when it dries the action is minimized. Technically, it should've probably been torn down, but the old wood wouldn't let me. It was beautiful. However, the 3 foot deep, raccoon feces, and nearly 60 years of associated filth that goes with them: urine,m damage ETC, was all present and engrained in this house and most deeply in that beautiful wood. I tried everything to remove the smell, baking soda, all sorts of pet sprays, expensive pet sprays......gallons of it, toxic remedies, etc. Nothing worked, it all came back, just as strong as ever!!! Then I happened upon this. In two treatments, that was only a half gallon total, it is gone, and has been gone for nearly 3 weeks now, tested in high heat & humidity, ewwww. I cannot believe it. I still have half a gallon left, and some of this company's other odor eater stuff, and will use it, if need be, but THIS STUFF REALLY WORKS!!!!
