The cheap can opener that I had bought was really difficult. It would work for a second or two and then disconnect. I had to start it over. But, I had to keep doing this over and over. Sorry. I use mine alot. When I fully charge it I can usually leave it on charge for quite awhile. But not always, 2 to 3 hours will usually do it. But sometimes I have to use it one time after another for gallon cans. It it does run completely down on a gallon can. AndI can plug it in ASAP and in 10 to 15 minutes I can do another. The blade part that is removable for cleaning wants to fall off everytime you try to open a can. I ended up supergluing it on to the opener and just doing any cleaning with a brush.
