Trying to adapt to ram mount stuff so i dont have to use proclip dashmount** A: Richard: The key is the ball size, and also, the mount hole location in the Ram Base Unit you are referring to. Not knowing what a Proclips Phone Holder is in regard to ball size and mount holes location, I really cannot say. However, if the mount holes do not line up, you can always redrill holes in the proper location to fit the Proclips. Or, you could clue the Ram Mount to the Proclips. I went to Amazon and looked at pictures of Pro Clip Phone Holders, but I cannot tell from the picture whether the Ram Mount Base is adaptable or not, nor can I really tell exactly what kind of mount combination you have in mind.
