It's also made in the United States. Installing a radiant barrier is the only way to effectively block the transfer of radiant heat. Used as a standalone product in some applications or in conjunction with other types of insulation these reflective bubble foil insulation products are extremely effective. Our White / Double Bubble / Foil Square Edge Insulation product consists of a double layer of polyethylene bubbles sandwiched between a highly reflective aluminum surfaces and a white poly surface. The white inner surface blends nicely with my light gray garage doors. I installed this roll on an 18 foot and a 6 foot door (both with a row of windows) and had a fourth of a roll left.This product lowered the temperature of the inside of a South facing garage door by about 5 degrees. It helps, but not a huge difference.
