The top of my eye is the Funk by itself and over NYX 601 Black Bean Jumbo Eye Pencil. Lids are over black with Planet Love & Rave. Then I drew lines with the NYX pencil above my eye to see the colors by themselves and over the black. I used NYX 604 Milk below and did the same thing. My conclusion is that only a white base is needed if any. Full Throttle (orange) does best by itself and the Metallic colors pop great either way. When I gently wiped the colors the NYX sticks really helped prevent smearing.Thought I would share my discovery. I haven't worn them out so I will update if I find any issues. If you're looking for a inexpensive palette with a few neons and other workable colors, I highly recommend this! I stumbled across this product while watching various youtube videos and one youtuber (shoutout to BiohazardousBeauty) did a video with recommendations on neon eyeshadow. In that video, she mentions a couple different brands, but I figured this would be a good palette to go with since its a definitely cheaper than the others. With that being said, the product is fantastic! I do use primer with all of my eyeshadows so it does help with pigmentation, but I do think the blues and the purple in here are very sheer. BUT, I mostly bought this palette for the four neons in them and they did not disappoint. Again, I definitely think the sheer colors balance out the palette in the sense where you get a combination of products, i.e., ome more "work friendly" than others, but I'd rec this for anyone willing to try Sleek.I'll definitely be buying the V1 Palette next. The price is great for quality easy applying eyeshadow. The only reason I am unable to give this item 5 stars is because even though I used a primer, & a very light coat of a chubby white eye pencil (so the colors were pronounced), the shadow creased rather badly near the end of the day. I could see a whole section of my bare eyelid in the crease. Other than that, this product would be perfect, because the colors are very beautiful, unique, & show up quite well.
