Spinning was also not a concern, although the noise would sometimes let us know when the laundry was almost finished.Things changed after moving to a house with a laundry area. Suddenly the spinning became noticeable. Sometimes it seemed to shake the entire floor. Tile on a raised foundation can do that. I tried jamming cloths between frames, leveling the pedestals, and showing how to load the washer more evenly, but none of these stopped the problem.So I looked for some type of anti-vibration pads and these came up in a search. They have generally positive reviews, so I decided to test them out even thought they are somewhat pricey. I am happy to say they work as advertised. The laundry area is much quieter and the washer and dryer stay put.Installing them is a two-person job. One person tilts the machine backward, the other person puts a spacer (2x4 works well) under the front feet. Next, one person tilts the machine forward and the other person slides the rear feet into place. It only takes a few minutes for each machine. I originally used the Vibration Pads made by Derens/GE, which was offered when I bought my GE Washer. These are made of what appears to be Hard Rubber, with a light tread on the bottom for grip. These Vibration Pads worked somewhat, but not that great, and my Washer would move (Rotate) on the floor during the spin cycle. The vibration would also cause the Dryer to move as well! The fact that I have Vinyl Floors in my Kitchen didn't help. I read a lot of good stuff about the Anti-Walk Silent Feet, and how they were suppose to prevent Washer movement, and reduce vibration and structural damage. Since using them, I have seen much improvement, my Washer and Dryer don't move, and the vibration has been reduced. My kitchen still shakes, and my faucet on sink still bobs up and down, but it is better than before. The material that is used really holds on to the Vinyl Floor, you would have to grab it and pull it up off the floor. The material in the cup itself feels like gritty stone, and that prevents the Washer feet from sliding in the cup. Something to consider if you decide to purchase this, is that unless you can get around all sides of your Washing machine, you may have a tough using these because you won't be able to slide your machine out and back after you put them on. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Great vibration control *by C***L on Reviewed in the United States on August 27, 2023* I picked these after doing some research on types of plastic/rubber material used in these and picked the red pack (no walk feet) because if it’s material composition. I needed these because the washer has always shook the house and it was a danger to just about every fragile item on a shelf that would eventually walk off. And they absolutely absorb every bit of vibration, I put a cup of water on the ground next to the machine and it remained still water through the spin cycle despite our older free machines that do shake and vibrate A LOT.
