It arrived in a nice plastic wrap protective packaging. The first thing i notice once i had removed the packaging that it was in fact made of hard plastic with just a rubberised texture. It did not come with any fitting instructions. However after a quick look at all the parts it was pretty simple to see how it fitted. I clipped the bottom part on. It worth saying at this point it only protects the bottom and the front half of the mac all the ports and back hinge are unprotected. there are cut outs for the speakers on the sides of the mac but thats it. Next i fitted the top cover. Take a quick look at this as there are 3 clips at the top and only 2 and the bottom (because hinge would be in the way if there was a 3rd) Again easy to fit just clicked into place. The keyboard cover is the disappointing part it comes with 2 a red keys cover and a clear. I have a EU mac so the red keys one does not fit. So i have to use the clear cover. Once fitted i does protect the keys however i does point out one flaw very quicky the cover sticks to the keys showing which keys you use the most. (i.e could be easy for someone to work out your password). I was very hesitant at first as some reviews said the case doesn’t fit on the new MacBooks. However, the case I received fits perfectly and was very easy to install! The case allows the screen to open up more than 90 degrees (there were some complaints about this), and my MacBook now feels much more protected.However, the keyboard cover is very poor. It doesn’t fit the keyboard very well, and comes off very easily.
