Review: Issue with product, quickly resolved! - We've been using DoggieLawn since the previous "real grass" company we bought from on desertcart went out of business. I'd say we have purchased around 8-10 sod pieces from DoggieLawn so far. Always had a great experience until the last purchase 2 weeks ago. Sod arrived dark, like grass was dead or dying and smelled horribly rotten. We just couldn't use it. Our pups would barely get on it, sniffing it nonstop....it wasn't...good. We contacted DoggieLawn and they were more than willing to work with us, shipping a free replacement with zero hassle. Very much appreciated. Very responsive with our messages. We, of course, will continue to be DoggieLawn customers and highly recommend them for your real grass sod pee pad needs. Thank you!
Review: Fresh cut grass - Been buying the same grass sections off Chewy. Chewy charges $22 more per piece and it’s the same thing . Always fresh and green. We use them in our catio. Our cats love them

## Features

- THE NATURAL CHOICE – Real grass is ideal for use as an outdoor or indoor puppy potty; it naturally helps absorb odors the same way turf does, in an easy-to-dispose grass in a box system
- DOGS LOVE IT – There's nothing more natural for your dog than doing their business on fresh green pads of real grass, whether you're out at work all day or need a reliable puppy pee training solution
- SIMPLE TO USE – Just set out your pad and encourage your dog to use it once they have to go; when it's time for a replacement, just toss it in the trash or a green compost bin
- REAL GRASS, NOT PLASTIC – Our system is completely natural, since it's real grass, offering an easy-to-clean, natural-looking alternative to plastic pee pads as an all-in-one doggy litter box
- YOUR DOG'S BACKYARD IN A BOX – DoggieLawn was started to help pet owners live a better life with their dogs, providing a natural alternative to traditional plastic pee pads for dogs of every age

## Questions & Answers

**Q: i have 3 pomeranians, will this smell bad with every day use? how long does it last? how do you keep it clean? and are dogs tempted to dig on it?**
A: I have an 80lb Malamute who uses it everyday. I keep it outside under a covered balcony. So far no smells and it usually lasts about a month. I water it every few days. I think the digging depends on the dog. Mine doesn't dig in it. Very important to use their spray that comes with it!

**Q: I have a small enclosure for my cats. The grass is very little. Would this (taken out of box) work outside too. At least for a little bit?**
A: Yes it would work outside I think. If I were you I would not take it out if the box, but I used it for a dog.

**Q: Is the plastic tray reusable for the extra large**
A: Yes! You keep the plastic tray and just order the refills of grass. Once your dog gets used to going on it you won’t want to be without it!

**Q: Flex Tray vs Plastic Tray - Which tray is better?**
A: I have the plastic tray I been buying doggie lawn for almost a year the plastic was cheaper for me I'm on a fix income plus I'm 70 years old I don't get around like I use too I love this product because I live on the third floor of an apt building. I the plastic try has held up for a year it really if what you can afford

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Lifesaver for apartment potty training but never arrives on time
*by D***Y on May 24, 2026*

ETA: Not one delivery has been on time. Otherwise I have loved the doggy lawn while I was resuming my puppy but I can’t wait to never need one again! Just ordered my last one and yes- it’s late! I got a puppy about a month ago and also live in a third floor apartment. After running myself ragged trying to run my last puppy (and some foster puppies) up and down three flights of stairs, I decided to give myself a break and try these potty grass pads. They are a life saver. They make transitioning to fully going outside much easier. I don’t like to use turf as my dogs are sport dogs and we sometimes trial on turf- I don’t want them thinking it’s a potty pad! I do have to replace this about every 2-3 weeks but I don’t mind since it’s temporary. I’m not sure if there’s a way to make it last longer, but I’m too lazy to figure it out. 🤭 It does start to smell a little once it’s becomes saturated, of course but replacing every 2-3 Weeks keeps it from getting bad. And of course picking up the poop every time! I have used both Fresh patch and doggylawn and don’t notice a big difference! Mine have been nice out of the box and great for what they are meant for!
