This fits almost perfectly and will reduce any metal to metal contact that may "buzz" when cranking up your new speakers. Yes you do have to drill four small holes in the door to attach the speakers. Installation time was under an hour for both rear doors, minus the run to the store for the speaker connectors. Save time and get the connectors first before starting.
