It's just a fan, not an AC. When you receive the product it will actually say fan on the box. It doesn't work better or worse than a regular fan. I tried cold water, ice water, and ice and it didn't blow colder than my regular fan and didn't cool an area. Also, the filter started browning after 1 use.
