The box is very heavy, but this isn't just your average umbrella. It was easy to assemble, easy to raise up and down. Provides a tremendous amount of shade! The only thing that would make this better is a different base. Its convenient that the plastic sandd holders fit together like pie pieces. But they don't hold enough sand, it leans. We just keep two bags of sand on top of the base for counter weights and it works good for now. Eventually those bags will get holes and the plastic will break down. I believe a large solid base would work better, and I am going to have to figure out a way to modify the base soon. Other than that, this umbrella is fantastic! The solar lights are awesome and actually put out a good amount of light at night. I absolutely would recommend this product, and would buy another one! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Nice product, but use caution. *by C***N on Reviewed in the United States on July 14, 2019* I am pleased with the result; however there was a slight tear in the awning and a piece of the base was cracked off. I was able to pot the two pieces of the base together & the screw held it in place. I whip stitched the tear together because by the time I saw it I had already packed the wet sand in the base. I did not want to take it all apart to ship it back. Make sure to check EVERYTHING before assembling. We are in a windy area but I think it will work for us when we need it. ### ⭐ 1.0 out of 5 stars it is wonderful. The problems that someone else listed are absolutely ... *by J***N on Reviewed in the United States on August 21, 2016* When this is working correctly, it is wonderful. The problems that someone else listed are absolutely my experience also--the bottom fabric section is originally fastened with little elastic bands. I didn't have it but three or four months and they were nearly shot. This second season, it is almost impossible to use the thing. I contacted the seller and rather than propose any sort of real solution, I was told that I should take my not one year old umbrella to a canvas repair shop and have new tabs sewn on. In short, I paid a small fortune for something that didn't last a full summer season and I am now going to have to replace. This is absolute garbage. Take it from me, the idea is wonderful but the actual product is terrible. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.tn/products/13301221-outdoor-patio-cantilever-umbrella-11-foot-round-canopy-with-solar](https://www.desertcart.tn/products/13301221-outdoor-patio-cantilever-umbrella-11-foot-round-canopy-with-solar) --- *Product available on Desertcart Tunisia* *Store origin: TN* *Last updated: 2026-10-14*
