Review: It helps protect jellyfish stings - I spend my winter in Florida but since last year I have started getting a terrible reaction to jellyfish. I was so disappointed about not being able to go into the ocean again. This product has definitely helped. It’s a very heavy sunscreen that I put all over my torso under the bathing suit and it seems to work.
Review: Good sunscreen -- really got to rub it in - It's very thick, but I think that's a good thing--it just takes some time to get it all rubbed into your skin. A darker-skinned person (like my husband) might look a little like they're in white face until it is good and blended. At the end of an 8-day Caribbean cruise, we still had plenty left, even though I was putting it on constantly throughout the day. We did not encounter any jellyfish, so I don't know whether or not it works, but because it's so thick, I think it probably will -- especially with the little bitey shrimpey things that come out at night and make surfacing after a night dive really painful.

**Q: What is the expiry date of the product if ordered and shipped this month (Sept 2022)? Hoping to know whether to order 1 bottle or a 3 pack. Thanks.**
A: Safe Sea has an expiry date of three years from production.
The Expiry date of the products currently in stock, Lot L1034, is 31/12/2024.

**Q: Does this protect against the blue jellies and blue octopus and can it be found in containers that meet TSA requirements of 3.4 ounce bottle?**
A: Safe Sea protect against all kind of Jellyfish. 
All Jellyfish has the same stinging mechanism, that Safe Sea is inhabiting.
Unfortunately, Safe Sea does not protect from octopus.
For containers that meet TSA requirements of 3.4 ounce, Please choose the Safe Sea products that are sold in 3.4 ounce tubes. (not the ones in 4oz bottles).

**Q: What are the ages of children that this product is safe for?**
A: On the back of the bottle, it says "Children under 6 months: Ask a doctor". Because of this, I want to say its for 6 months and older. There is no other information about ages besides this information that is printed on the bottle.

**Q: Has anyone use this in Castaway Cay?**
A: I don’t know about particular locations, but we tried w/kids & were not impressed. They got stung . . .

I can't say if this kept us from getting stung my sea lice or other jelly fish. I can only say that during our hour of snorkeling in the Caribbean, we didn't get stung once. I can say that as a sun block, this worked very well. Neither of us got the least sunburned. The only down side is that this goes on very white and it's a bit hard to smooth in. It doesn't seem to affect its effectiveness at all, but it does look rather messy. Still, it does work, and that is what we considered important. If it had worked as well but had not been so messy looking, I would have rated it 5 stars.
